Demand and supply planning in project-driven industries

Many planning teams operate in industries where demand is shaped by economic cycles, interest rates, government incentives, and long project timelines. Usually, this also comes with many product variations and long lead times, thereby making supply chain planning very complex.

In this webinar, three experienced leaders will share how they are modernizing demand and supply planning, improving decision-making, and driving value through IBP, digital tools, AI, and more effective processes.

Meet the panelists:

Guilherme Pereira leads global IBP processes and technology implementation at Knauf. He has held global supply chain and planning roles at Nordex, Allnex, Baker Hughes, and others, covering discrete manufacturing, chemicals, and industrials. At Knauf, he drives process standardization and the rollout of IBP and AI-based planning.

Jogy Babu is General Manager of Sales & Operations at RAK Ceramics, overseeing demand, supply, and fulfillment planning. With over 25 years in production and supply chain, he brings a hands-on leadership perspective on planning challenges in highly customized, SKU-heavy businesses like tiles and ceramics.

Sabitavo Das is Global Program Manager for Supply Chain at Holcim, one of the world’s largest building materials companies. He combines deep domain knowledge with experience in product management, analytics, and digital transformation, leading global initiatives to optimize logistics, reduce cost, and implement modern planning tools.

What we’ll cover:

  • Demand planning in volatile project-driven markets
  • Supply planning under long lead times & multiple constraints
  • Digitalization, from Excel to IBP, AI adoption, value tracking
